St. Lawrence Market Area
The St. Lawrence Market is one of the two major markets in Toronto. It is located west of Jarvis Street between King Street East and Esplanade. The city planning and development by the city of Toronto created mixed use housing. North America has taken its example of successful urban planning and used its model across the country. It offers a variety of shops and grocers throughout its buildings, from freezer orders of cut meat, to fresh cut flower arrangements. Included throughout the market are little shops with clothing, foods stuffs, such as vegetables, and fruits, meats, and breads. As well there are many random shops with miscellaneous things, providing a variety of selection for every person and their needs and desires. It is one of the markets in the city which attracts citizens from all over Toronto to gather and shop in a market style building.
